Your data, kept small.

SIEP (Skills In Everyday Practice) is a learning app and website of short interactive lessons. We collect as little as that requires, and nothing more.

What we collect

Account. When you sign in with Apple or Google we store the identifier your provider gives us and, if you share them, your name and email address. The same account works in the iPhone and Android apps and on siep.academy.
Learning progress. Which lessons you opened, which you finished, and the answers and review results the app needs to plan what to show you next (your nest and daily practice).
Reminders. If you turn on the daily reminder in the app: the time you picked, your device's time zone and a push token so we can send it. Turn it off any time in Manage my nest.
Purchases. Whether you have a subscription or the lifetime unlock. Payment is processed entirely by Apple or Google Play; we never see your payment details.
Usage. Basic events (pages and screens viewed, buttons tapped) that we use only to find and fix problems and improve the lessons.
Website. siep.academy counts page views as daily totals, with no cookies and no visitor identifiers. When you sign in on the web we set one cookie that keeps you signed in.

What we never do

No advertising, no third-party trackers, no data brokers.
No selling or sharing of your data with third parties.

Where your data lives

Your data is stored on our servers (hosted in the EU and US by our infrastructure providers) and is only processed to run SIEP's own features. Sign-in is handled by Apple, Google and Google Firebase. Purchases are processed by Apple or Google Play.

Deleting your data

You can delete your account and all learning data from the app's settings, or by emailing us from the address you signed in with. We delete it within 30 days.
